Why Revelation is One of the Best Books You'll Ever Read! (Part 2)

Do you want to be blessed? For the Bible says:


“BLESSED is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” (Revelation 1:3)


Another crucial reason that God is really wanting all of us to read this Book is due to the fact that it is the very last Book of the Bible – it is the very last chapter. It is the climax to the whole story. As such, each Christian should know exactly how everything will eventually play out and exactly what our victory is going to be with the Lord.


"Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years." (Revelation 20:6 - New Living Translation)

"In that day the wolf and the lamb will live together; the leopard will lie down with the baby goat. The calf and the yearling will be safe with the lion, and a little child will lead them all." (Isaiah 11:6 - New Living Translation)

Another reason that every Christian should be fully armed with knowledge on this topic is because we will never know the time. And while these end time events take place, your knowledge on this subject matter, your faith in the Lord and the Word of God will be the important things that will hold you steadfast in these troubling events.


"And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come." (Matthew 24:6-8 -New Living Translation)

You will need to know exactly how everything is going to play out. If you do not, you could easily lose your faith in the Lord due to the extreme activity that will be occurring during these very trying times.


"Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many." (Matthew 24:4-5 -New Living Translation)

Horrific things will happen after Jesus brings His people up to Heaven with Him in the Rapture. No one wants to think of their friends, family, and loved ones hurt. Bring them into the faith and save. They will be with you forever. This is the motivation to help others see the love and possibilities available for them within Christianity and with our Lord Jesus Christ.
