Humble before Heaven

God has set plans for all of our lives. But if we don't allow God to work his miracles in our lives, we won't see them. The widow woman of Zarephath was down to her last meal (1 Kings 17:7) when she was asked to take a large step of faith.
She gave her and her sons' very last meal to a complete stranger.
God's timing is the best because the fact that the widow had absolutely nothing makes us really appreciate what God did and understand that His timing is immaculate for His glory to shine and be seen.

Elijah had to humble himself to the point that he was taking food from a bird's mouth; drinking from a brook (1 Kings 17:2) and taking food from a window in a strange city. Elijah understood God's power and therefore allowed God to take complete and utter control of his life.
He was so close to God that he didn't die of natural causes - he was whisked away to Heaven! It could be attributed to his humble spirit.
Many people think they're alone in their wilderness (whatever it may be) but the most important thing you should know is that Jesus Himself knows what you're going through - He cares!
He's right beside you; willing to help. Jesus' name should be your refuge - your shelter. God also said he will not let temptation you cannot pass come before you. Everything that happens is part of God's master plan.
Amen
